WALKABOUT - LEARN HOW TO PHOTOGRAPH URBAN LANDSCAPES

Join photographer Stian Schioldborg and me on an exciting and challenging photographic workshop along Akerselva from Nydalen. We're going to chase great visual images in a variety of urban landscapes along the route.
We'll have loads of fun and explore urban landscapes with everything from new architecture, glas, metal and reflections, to traditional and old fashioned brick buildings and wrought iron. From the modern Nydalen, through nature and the waterfall by Mølla, down towards the busy trendy life at Vulkan and Mathallen.
We will go together as a group, and Stian and myself will show you our working methods. Not only our photographical methods, but also how we act as humans. This will not be a technical deep dive in the camera user manual, but it will be about practical composition, how to use the light, how to find good visual locations, storytelling, and an exciting hunt for great images in the everyday landscapes of the city.
Our walkabouts are aimed at those who want to push themselves into becoming better photographers. The easist thing in life is to keep on doing things like you always have, just like leaving your comfortzone might feel unpleasant. But doing those things only lead to stagnation. We'd love to do something about just that!
We will share tons of photographic knowledge and experience with you, and give you many tasks to solve and creative challenges during the walkabout. Our goal is to give you the opportunity to grow as a photographer, and that you start taking the time to really create good images.
The walkabout lasts for 5 hours, and the course fee is NOK 1.750,- per person. You don't need a lot of technical knowledge or a crowded equipment bag, but you do need to have the desire to grow as a photographer.
