Architectural photography workshop

LEARN HOW TO PHOTOGRAPH ARCHITECTURE
LOCATION: OSLO  -  DATE: TO BE ANNOUNCED

We are surrounded by architecture - modern an old - and it's a very popular photographic subject for many of us. No matter if we are tourists in our hometown, or out travelling, pictures of architecture is a great way of telling stories and making memories.

It's all about how we use our camera to portray buildings, bridges, stairs and other man-made objects around us. Exciting, but it can be very challenging as well. Because even if those subjects rarely moves, it can be quite difficult to produce good architectural images that we are happy with.

This workshops is held at Tjuvholmen and Aker Brygge in Oslo, where you will get inspiration and knowledge about photographing architecture. It is tailored towards those who feel they already know a bit, but want to learn more and also wants to be inspired.

Composition will be an important part of the evening, and also how we can use people in our images, even if we are photographing architecture. I will also cover the interaction of light and shadows, existing and artificial light, technique, colors and choosing equipment.

My goal is to teach you how to see the architecure, understand light, and guide you through the process of finding and making good images. I will give you lots of tips and tricks that can help you make even better images, and this will be both fun and instructive!

The workshop lasts from 17:30 to 22:00, and is limited to 7 participants to make sure everybody is well taken care of. The course fee is NOK 1.350,-- You can join by sending me a message through the contact page, and I hope I'll see you at my workshop!
